Heritage Elementary School

Thank you Mrs. Christy Schwab Librarian/Media Specialist for a wonderful experience during my author visit for Read Across America week. I enjoyed sharing our books with classes from kindergarten through fifth grade. It was such a delight to hear the children read “A Book about Virtues Letter Friends”. To hear them comment on the different virtues and how they could use and share them with others each day was encouraging.

Often students are inspired to read the author’s book after a visit. I was honored that several of the children purchased “A Book about Virtues Letter Friends” and “Don’t Chicken Out” and brought them in to be signed.

Thank you for the opportunity to help the children develop a love for reading and the enjoyment of writing and illustrating. I hope the children benefited from my visit.

Our mission is to remind us all, young and old, to incorporate these virtues into our everyday lives. Just a little Appreciation, Forgiveness, and Love can change the world!
